Job Description:

Greets, prepares, services, and takes guests' orders for beverages and/or food in a friendly, courteous, professional and timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction. Upsells additional items to enhance profitability. Enters orders into a computerized system and settles check(s) upon completion of order. Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.

What will I be doing?

- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documentsorders. Makes and/orpresents drinks using standard ingredient(s)/recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
- Inputs orders into a registerat the point of sale and createsa check for each guest, maintainingaccountability for all beverages served.
- Receives cash from guests, makes anychange needed, verifies validity of charges,records charges, and insures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance alltransactions.
- Maintains proper and adequate set-upof the coffee bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning,stocking and rotating all products needed.
- Respond to guest complains in a positive and tactful manner, negotiate a compromise and implementsolution.
- Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items,deposits cash drops, secures andbalance bank and sign out/in keys.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination ofthe following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performingeach function to be solely determinedby the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

What are we looking for?

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Guest relations/service experience preferred
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Food Service Sanitation certification.CPR/1st Aid certification preferred.
