The REVENUE QUALIFICATION SPECIALIST might be the job for you.

The Revenue Qualification Specialist must be able to:

• Verify insurance through various mechanisms and verifying and receiving documents.


• Complete authorization requests with various payers for services provided to Barnes Healthcare patients.


• Prepare Certificate of Medical Necessity (CMN) and tracking results.


• Compliance downloads Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances.


• Contact patients as necessary for information.


• Set and exceed department goals.


• Prepare reports via computer software.


• Maintain proper confidentiality at all times.   

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent


• At least 1 year of working knowledge of Health Insurance Coverage preferred


• Prior experience in HME and /or Home Infusion desired


• Excellent customer relation skills with above-average written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
