Job Description:

Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative, is responsible for responsible for growing revenue and profits by executing sales tactics to customers over the phone and via email communications. The ISR will be provided with an assigned account list, including both existing and prospect customers. In this inside sales position, the ISR is empowered to make key decisions influencing sales for medium-sized customers.

Primary Duties:


  • Support sales through outbound calling, e-mail communication, and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.

  • Cultivate relationships with customer contacts to maximize sales opportunities through educating customers on the benefits of products and pricing.

  • Sell add-ons and promotional items to continually penetrate accounts.

  • Achieve productivity, and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in the form of sales leads).

  • Prospect for new business and follow up with leads in the pipeline.

  • Follow customized scripts to deliver the team value proposition and handle objections most effectively.

  • Accurately input, track and report productivity and sales metrics.

  • Enter information into Sales Force to ensure account information is kept up to date.

  • Perform other responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years sales experience

  • Exceptional telephone skills-ability to set and close appointments over the phone and willingness to spend the majority of the workday on the phone.

  • Experience in using CRM technology (Sales Force) a plus

  • Effective written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to time manage with multiple tasks and effectively set priorities

  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills

  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to follow up and follow through

  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

SAP experience is a plus.
