Manage leads and opportunities; positioning Avaya's UC, CC, CPaaS, Professional Services, and Alliance Vendor solutions with clients
Develop strategic business plans for your accounts and territory and then execute that plan with the assistance of engineering, services, and application overlay resources
Regularly update SalesForce account and opportunity records to provide an accurate funnel outlook-REQUIRED!
The Named Account Manager is the 'face' of Avaya for our clients and customers and must be an effective communicator, a strategic thinker, and a polished and seasoned seller in the communications sector
Proven experience selling technology solutions into commercial businesses including UC, CC, CCaaS, CPaaS, Video, Data-Networking, e911, business continuity, and management applications,
Successful history of selling the supporting maintenance and professional services needed to implement and care for these solutions
Excellent track record of developing and executing strategic account and business plans
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Normal business hours, though extended hours may be expected during critical phases of the business
Travel 40-60%; predominantly in-region with occasional trips for corporate events
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Bachelors Degree in an IT discipline, Communications, or Business preferred
Industry Certifications preferred including Avaya courseware, CompTIA, CCNA, Lean Six Sigma
