Weston & Sampson is looking for an Environmental Scientist III / Project Scientist with 5 to 10 years of experience for our Water discipline in our Reading, MA office. Candidates will have experience with wetland delineations, ecological habitat assessments, and environmental permitting.



What you'll do:

• Delineating wetlands using the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) and the US Army Corps of Engineers methodology,
• Conducting ecological habitat assessments,
• Environmental permitting, preferably in Massachusetts or New England; and
• Handling flexible work load, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members.

What you'll bring:

• Multiple years of wetland delineation and ecological habitat assessment experience.
  • PWS or CWS certification a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational/time management skills are required.
• Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites and a valid driver's license is required.

• Possessing high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect and integrity.
