The responsibilities of the Home Lending Real Estate Portfolio Team include the forecasting and controllership of the balance sheet, net interest income, and credit costs of the held-for-investment mortgage and home equity loan portfolio.
In this role, you will be responsibe for:
Forecasting, analysis and reporting of mortgage and home equity owned held-for-investment loan portfolio (both end of period and average balances), interest income, internal funds transfer pricing, liquidity premium, and other components of carrying value
Lead efforts for comprehensive analysis around portfolio analytics including but not limited to balance roll-forward, CPRs, yields, and funding costs
Month and quarter-end forecasting and estimate to actuals comparisons and variance commentary - own message creation and delivery
Ownership and execution of quarterly risk appetite, annual CCAR, and budgeting for portfolio
Direct involvement in shaping the future progression of the HL forecasting automation for the HFI portfolio
Ad-hoc senior management requests related to portfolio forecasting; direct contact with senior leaders in Home Lending Capital Markets and Home Lending Finance
Supervision of deliverables and delegation of duties throughout team - investing in continued growth of expertise within the team
Managing a team of 5+ direct reports and 2+ indirect reports in Bangalore, providing guidance through in depth knowledge of forecasting processes and business drivers
Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant product and/or control experience, with specific knowledge of mortgage-related products, bond math and working knowledge of the capital markets preferred
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
Solid qualitative and quantitative skills
Minimum of a bachelor's degree with a concentration in either Finance or Accounting or other quantitative disciplines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & PowerPoint in particular - i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, PitchPro, etc.)
Ability to streamline existing process and create new reporting processes
Proven ability to build resilient and inclusive team cultures

Essbase and SAP knowledge a plus
