Material Handler I - (TGCS Department) - Second Shift 11:30am to 8:00pm
Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of office product solutions, has an opportunity available for a Material Handler I - (Second Shift)to join our TGCS Department in Horn Lake, MS.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and move materials within division, plant or warehouse.
Ability to operate material handling equipment.
Load and unload freight in safe manner.
Operative all material handling equipment including but not limited to forklifts, hand trucks, hand held scanners, and computer terminals.
May charge fork lift.
May verify incoming material against accompany documents to determine completeness and accuracy.
Maintain inventory records in the computer system.
May assemble, pack or pick materials and kit materials.
Perform counting actives for physical inventory, cycle count, shipping or receiving accuracy.
Ensure proper stock rotation.
Move or remove materials to/from the appropriate storage area.
Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas, adhere to all safety rules and follow all established security procedures.
Palletize/shrink wrap orders, pick orders and loading.
LPN shipping process and verifying.
Efficiently operate material handling equipment such as clamp trucks, hand trucks, handheld scanners and computer terminals.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
0+ years' experience required.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
Knowledge of material handling function and skills.
Demonstrated ability to speak read and write English.
Proven ability to continuously lift up to 50 lbs.
Working knowledge of computerized warehouse inventory systems.
Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift.
