What this job involves

As directed by the clients and in accordance with the SOM standards and procedures of JLL, responsible for overseeing the IFM management and operations of the property and staff of the assigned primary site plus provide mentorship and direction for assigned Network sites. Organize and prioritize multiple tasks, effectively manage through stressful situations, consistently make effective, high-quality decisions, and must develop and effectively manage client relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

The following duties are typical for this classification. Incumbents may not performall ofthe listed duties and/or may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices:


  • Provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility, electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety.


  • Develop and maintainapositive client relationship.


  • Develop and lead the implementation of innovative programs, processes,and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely withthe NSFMand the client.


  • Conflict resolution and solution analysis; identifying or partnering with other internalaccount teamsto develop more specializedSOMservice to clients.


  • Ensure compliance with system-wide initiatives and required local, state,and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operation of facilities entrusted to the IFM Network to manage on behalf of the client as owner.


  • Coordinate preparation of details IFM budgets and related reporting.


  • Responsible for overseeingand maintenance ofthe JLL Engineering compliance program, Joint Commission compliance,CMMSdatabase,and ATGdocumentationapplications.


  • Provide oversight of staff, with input on selection, counseling, appraisal's and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions.


  • Any and all duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • A Bachelor's Degreein like industry, for example,project management or operations management,preferred.

  • 5-8related managerial experience required withaproven budget and personnel responsibilities.

  • Operating an IFM group in a hospital setting required.

  • Strongleadership and relationship-building skills, with the proven ability to work through others to accomplish goals and objectives.

  • Organizational and project management skills.

  • Knowledge of hospitalfacilities management, clinical engineering, and/or regulatory standardsrequired.

  • Advanced technical knowledge of building systems, data center, elective, mechanical, HVAC, etc.

  • Effective written, verbal, and presentational communication skills Experience in developing policies and procedures required.

  • Superior analytical skills to comprehend and interpret complex regulations, perform data analysis, and communicate results to others required.

  • Proven record of providing external and internal customer service.

  • Competent and advanced knowledge functioning inavirtual work-life environment as needed, using relatedSoftware Tools:WebEx,Microsoft Office(MS Teams,SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint),ATG documentation system, andComputerized Management System (CMMS) database applicationsarerequired.

Certifications/Licenses


  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license.

  • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation a plus.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a dynamic environment that requires sensitivity to change and responsiveness to changing goals, priorities, and needs. The employee is routinely required to work outside of normal business hours.

Although mostIFMmanagementstaffwork in an officeat the client site, they are expected to fluidly movethroughthe client campus and buildings as applicable.

ManyIFM staff workin stressful situations during disasters and emergencies.

Work Schedules

MostIFM Managers workfull time.Also, mostare on call at all timesand may need to work overtime to respond to emergencies and to supportthe IFM Network and hospitaloperations.

Required Travel

The employee is frequently required to travelthroughout theassigned Networkand will be required to travel withinthestate(for example, client corporate offices)at times.
