  Duties and Responsibilities:

  
  


• Assist in development and expansion of primary product lines, utilizing engineering methodologies in conceptual design, product manufacturing, and validation.


• Develop and maintain documentation.
  
  
  
  • Open issues list for design and engineering related issues.
  
  
  • Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEA).
  
  
  • Design Verification Planning and Reports (DVP&R) with progress reports.
  
  
  • Program archive file
  
  
  
  


• Participate in Value Analysis and Value Engineering Activities


• Develop testing concepts for validating unique component features.


• Work with Applications Engineering personnel to complete all product designs in accordance with customer requirements and specifications.


• Work with the Validation group to complete all product validation per developed DVP&R.


• Assist in development of materials and validation of new product concepts.


• Interface with manufacturing facilities to ensure design can be manufactured within manufacturing requirements.
  
  
  

  Education and/or Experience:

  
  


• Pursuing Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent
  
  
  

  Requirements:

  
  


• Strong written and oral communication skills that allow the individual to express technical information in a clear and concise manner


• Proficient in Microsoft Office software


• Must be a proven self-starter with proven time management ability


• This individual must enjoy working in a team environment as well as independently without constant direct supervision.
