Responsible for Supply Chain Planning for ROSA (Robotic Surgical Assistant) business. Development of the supply plan and execution of the production plan for ROSA product lines, including robotic units, disposables, and instruments based on statistical analysis and market insight.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Execute the supply planning process of inventory planning, requirements planning, demand planning, production planning, and material planning.
Align with manufacturing, customer service, and downstream marketing to ensure pinpoint accuracy in capital unit logistical scheduling and allocation
Communicate allocation and production schedule to senior leadership to provide global alignment.
Key interface between Stock replenishment, operations, and logistics.
Establish and maintain production forecasts and coordinate with the actual production and shipping.
Revises base forecast model for multiple product groups to incorporate customer/market requirements and yearly business plans.
Prepare Master Plan using SAP APO, and any other planning tools.
Establishing the means to plan and ensure smooth running of Supply Chain activities and manage contingencies across external and internal boundaries of the business.
Deliver required levels of customer service and are responsive to Market Changes and Brand Innovation.
Expected Areas of Competence
Leveraged PostgreSQL and Tableau Desktop to provide visibility to regional inventory, global demand forecast and actuals, supply schedules, and US territory information
Established S&OP cycle and cadence for burgeoning robotics division
Proffered admin responsibilities for collaboration web-app Smartsheet
Excellent Spreadsheet skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems experience required.
Must be a self-starter, self-managed, an effective team player and possess excellent analytical / problem solving skills.
Must have the ability to handle complex problems, make sound decisions and work independently under the pressure of a heavy workload with significant time restrictions.
Needs good understanding of the manufacturing process (from raw materials to finished product), sound accounting principles, inventory control and paperwork flow necessary to be able to function responsibly in this position.
Bachelor\'s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance or related discipline and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of supply chain planning experience. APICS certified a plus.
System implementation experience would be a plus.
Highly proficient in MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
Tableau and ERP experience required
