The University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a GI Support Technician at UTower. The GI Support Technician performs duties related to the gastroenterological procedure process, in accordance with established policies and regulations, and anticipates the needs of patients, physicians, and department staff. Moreover, the incumbent prepares and maintains supplies, instruments, and equipment, and adheres to strict aseptic techniques and standard precautions. The GI Support Technician also performs routine care and cleaning of endoscopy equipment.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, Graduate Degree preferred


• BLS Certification


• GI Support Tech Certification preferred


• CNA or related health care experience of a minimum 6 months
