Job Summary:

Provides thought leadership and direction in support of new business development opportunities. Leads the implementation of new business development initiatives; partners with business owners to ensure expected results. Provides leadership and support of existing business and oversight of new initiatives.



Job Responsibilities and Requirements:



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Translates strategy for new business opportunities into operational tactics and builds organizational support and infrastructure to support business development.

  • Contributes to the development of expansion market studies, business plans, and operational implementation plans, working closely with executive leadership as a subject matter expert to support new business ventures.

  • Manages and develops client relationships with senior leadership within the health system and in business venture organizations.

  • Provides oversight and client relationship management for expansion markets, coordinates and drives resolution of problems which have a broad impact on current business ventures and future business development opportunities.

  • Provides an independent business perspective for executive leadership on key organizational strategies and critical project investments.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Seven years' experience



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
