  • Will be leading a team of 40 people


  • HOURS: Evening,1pm-10pm Rotating Saturdays (please do not apply if you can not work these hours for minimum of 18 months)

JOB SUMMARY:



Consults with Teleunderwriting staff regarding information gathered during interviews and entered into the C 4 Call Management System. This includes coaching the team in order to increase production and quality.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for the daily administrative operations of the department.

  • Monitors workflow within the department to ensure work and client requests are met on a daily basis.

  • Applying and completing reports necessary within Teleunderwriting's Quality Assurance program.

  • Serve as backup for positions within the department.

  • Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Lab One management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.

  • Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the company Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

  • Responsible for ensuring a performance appraisal for each individual within the assigned unit, department or group is conducted and completed according to company policy no less than once every 12 months.

  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training of employees within assigned unit, department or group.

  • Responsible for timely and accurate submission of information in accordance with the company Time and Attendance Tracking policy.

  • Reviews and Approvals: Examples of decisions that can be taken without conferring with supervisor. Reassigning job responsibilities within the department Workflow changes within the department Examples of decisions that can be taken only after conferring with supervisor.

  • Promotions within the department

  • Workflow overhauls or major modifications Workconfigurations


JOB REQUIREMENTS:



Education and/or Experience:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent and some college courses preferred.

  • Must have two years' experience in total or combination of the following: teleinterviews, customer service, quality reviews, and supervisory or management experience.

  • Minimum Skills:

  • Required Good management and teambuilding skills

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Professional phone manner

  • Accurate, detail oriented

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

  • The ability to work well with others

  • Physical Demands while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in person and on the telephone.
