YOUR ROLE


  • Lead the day to day operation of quality team at production facility delivering results in customer complaint management, supplier complaint management, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) deliverables, and corrective actions related to audits.

  • Champion and mentor production facility in Built in Quality elements such as problem solving, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control plan, six sigma, statistical controls, error proofing, and change control.

  • Drive improvement in quality process while remaining compliant to automotive customer requirements and automotive standards (IATF 16949).

  • Implement and monitor regional and global policies, standards, and systems related to improving quality.

  • Meet with customers (internal and external) and suppliers (if needed) on a regular basis to obtain the status of projects, provide direction, resolve open issues, and drive improvement.


YOUR SKILLS


  • Bachelor's Degree within a relevant Science discipline

  • Knowledge and experience with IATF/ISO/QS standards in an automotive environment

  • 5+ years of experience with TS/IATF 16949 and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) Customer Requirements

  • 7+ years of supervisory experience

  • Experience leading teams and working with customers

  • Experience in troubleshooting difficult problems in a plant environment

  • Excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated success in leading teams of problem solvers with a balance of reactive and proactive quality efforts

  • Must be willing to travel occasionally
