Our Public Sector professionals:

• Research and recommend best practices in Medicaid long term services and supports; Medicaid managed care; child welfare; and other health and human services related areas.


• Develop policies, procedures, guidance, training and related communications


• Develop and project manage strategic plans for transformational systems change


• Develop and implement communications processes with key constituencies, including internal and external stakeholders


• Assess processes and design improvement strategies


• Assist in implementation of an operational realignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required - all majors considered, with preference for political science / public policy, public administration, or human services


• Graduate or law degree a plus


• Prior full-time work experience in policy analysis, Medicaid, or public interest or government law required ; prior experience in government operations and/or consulting experience not required, but considered a plus

Demonstrate proficiency with most or all of the following:

• Use MS Office programs as the primary tool to perform analysis and present conclusions


• Possess excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills


• Understand key operational performance drivers with operational processes


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks concurrently


• Willing to travel
