Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Application Developer at our New York, NY location. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, support and maintain Human Capital Management (HCM) software applications leveraging ADP's Open HCM platform. Implement and configure software application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic. Create technical design and implementation documents. Enforce governance around cross-cutting capabilities such as security, authentication, authorization and auditing. Work with software development test engineers to automate software application testing, development and configuration. Participate in internal process improvement initiatives, provide feedback on software development processes and drive both technology change as well as product insight.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience.
Work Experience:
Two (2) years of experience must include: Building Human Capital Management, Business Process Management or Enterprise Resource Management tools; JavaScript; CSS; Web Standards; C#, Java, C, Ruby on Rails, Python or Go; Agile software development methodologies; Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) modeling; User Interface (UI) development; MySQL; SQL; and Database administration.
