Crusher Foreperson – Portable RAP (Vermont):   We are seeking a safety minded, self-motivated, qualified individual to oversee and direct all facets of the aggregate processing operations and personnel at the portable crusher facility.  The essential duties include but are not limited to: ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly, strive to maintain optimum production and minimum costs while producing a high quality on-time product in a safe and environmentally sound manner and oversee/administer the weekly tool-box talks.  Other duties include operating a front-end loader, and assisting with daily production duties as needed.  The selected candidate will work closely with the EHS division to ensure compliance with all facility permits and environmental regulations mandated by federal, state, or local governing bodies. Position based in Vermont.  Classification:  Seasonal hourly position.

Requirements:

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.


• Utilize computer and software systems for ongoing production (i.e. PEAK, demand forecast tools, thru-put costs). 


• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.


• The willingness to work extended hours with possible night and/or weekend work as well as overnights.


• The willingness to travel to other Pike locations throughout New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.


• A valid driver’s license.
