Our Secondary Market Advisory professionals advise clients in the liquidation of alternative investments, specifically limited partnership interests in private equity funds, real estate funds and hedge funds and shares in private companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Further develop Duff & Phelps' capabilities as an intermediary in the secondary market for limited partnership interests and shares in private companies
• Prepare, deliver and close sales presentations to new and existing clients
• Provide transaction support, including process strategy development, asset underwriting, legal document review and communication coordination
• Manage client relationships; identifying and developing opportunities to enhance relationships with existing clients and contacts, with the goal of creating new business opportunities (existing services or identifying and/or developing potential new services/products)
• Work closely with Duff & Phelps Alternative Asset Advisory Practice in providing valuation services to hedge funds, private equity funds and institutional investors
• Recruit and develop new team members
• Identify cross-marketing opportunities within and across Duff & Phelps
• Demonstrate support in advancing company and practice objectives of profitability, professionalism and teamwork with colleagues and clients
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must have 4+ years of experience in the secondary market with a proven track record and solid network of industry contacts
  
  




• Bachelor's, Master's or MBA degree
  
  




• FINRA licensed Series 7 or 63 preferred
  
  




• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  
  




• Demonstrated experience with managing day-to-day aspects of client relationships and projects
  
  




• Demonstrated record of leadership and effective management in matrixed organizations
  
  




• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
  
  




• Experience working with diverse teams
