About the role

The AIX team is seeking a Technical Project/Product Manager for their Platform Operations function. This position is a unique opportunity to work across the full AIX team and gain a breadth of experience in financial services, AI/ML, and AWS. Candidate will be focused on interfacing with engineering, product, operations, and risk and control teams, as necessary to support the entire software development lifecycle.

Platform Operations team is responsible for ensuring compliance to Global Technology Risks and Controls standards, identifying opportunities and drive enhancements in the existing process and procedures leading to constant improvement in reliability of software delivery, platform reliability, resiliency, consistent reduction in recovery time objective, and speed to market new capabilities. Ideal candidate is expected to have broad hands-on experience of software delivery processes, modern technology stack, AWS, and project management. Candidate will have a demonstrated interest in public and private cloud, work well independently, and be process oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management activities in collaboration with the Engineering, Product, Operations, and Risk and Control teams
• Lead initiatives to establish technology processes for AI/ML platform and governance from development to implementation
• Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope
• Demonstrate technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges
• Govern the adoption of processes and drive continuous improvement
• Design, develop and own team collaboration sites, periodic content modifications and reporting
• Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners, to leadership / executives)
• Work with development teams throughout the software development life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases

Requirements

• Master's, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical related field
• 5+ years of experience in program management in software engineering environment
• Expert knowledge of Agile. Hands on experience with any of the following tools: JIRA, Rally
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
• Preferred: Knowledge of AI/ ML, Data Science, AWS or related certification would be a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical global, cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of product management, Agile, DevOps, and SRE
