The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation, planning, purchasing, scheduling, and execution of all digital and electronic marketing campaigns. This individual will develop a comprehensive digital media strategy that provides advertising support for traditional marketing tactics (direct mail, TV, radio, billboard, print) and also performs as a stand-alone tactic driving direct response and incremental sales-lift for consumer and local business sales channels. The digital strategy will include, but is not limited to, paid online advertising, paid social advertising, retargeting services, email marketing, social media marketing, OTT services, email marketing, e-commerce, and marketing automation tactics.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Expand sales channels by driving new prospective customers to Hargray via phone, web form, or e-commerce functions that otherwise aren't reached with traditional media
Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet sales goals
Optimize website and social media channels for SEO as well as usability
Analyze key metrics of website traffic and our social goals
Partner with advertising and media specialists to increase digital marketing results
Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures for all applicable digital channels
Enhance and monitor social media engagement and integrate with other marketing tactics
Oversee online listings as well as reputation management and monitoring services
Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign's performance
Provide creative and strategic thinking for new, more customer-friendly methods to deliver customer service, customer self-service functions
Research, evaluate, create digital marketing plans, and present recommendations to the Director of Marketing and Senior Management for new media and/or digital media approaches.
Manage art and copywriting professionals for digital assets (outsourcing where needed)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in the related field and preferably industry
5 to 7 or more years' experience in digital marketing or digital agency work
Knowledge of and experience in digital marketing principals
Google AdWords, Mobile, Shopping Certification preferred
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
Google Tag Manager and pixel placement experience preferred
Paid social campaign experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) preferred
CMS experience, especially Drupal, preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
