Job Description:
We Are Hiring: Work Schedule: Day shift with some rotating weekends (6:30AM -3:00PM/7:00AM -3:30PM)
What You Will Do: Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
Prepare order and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
Repackage bulk medications.
Receive and store incoming supplies.
Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association preferred.
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Maryland registered pharmacy technician with at least 2 years of hospital (inpatient) experience.
Must be PTCB certified with demonstrable experience in sterile compounding, prepacking, pyxis machines.
Some experience with electronic health record such as Meditech. Medication reconciliation experience a plus
