We are looking for a Data Architect to help build out a Data Quality Framework for a highly regarded philanthropic organization.

Exciting work you will do:


  • Translate requirements to technical solutions

  • Build data systems and pipelines

  • Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement or opportunities to enhance

  • Help develop data quality processes and templates

  • Profile data sources to understand existing quality issues

  • Collaborate on data modeling tasks including recommending and evaluating designs based on established data modeling practices

  • Combine raw information from different sources

  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability including helping with the development of support and remediation processes

  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition

  • Develop analytical tools and programs

  • Assist Senior BI Engineer and Senior Data Engineer on new technology POCs

What you will need:


  • 5+ years' experience working as a data architect

  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodology

  • High level (architectural) knowledge of MS Azure (Cloud)

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders

  • Expertise and recent hands-on technical experience with: SQL, ADF, Data Warehousing, DAX, PowerShell (Python as nice to have), Azure, Data Modeling, CICD/Azure DevOps, and PowerBi)

  • Prior experience with Data Quality, Platform Data Engineering/Modeling, and Architectural POCs with Azure Data Services and PowerBI

  • Ability to understand and refine existing CICD Framework and processes (built in Azure DevOps)
