Friendship Senior Options is currently hiring for a part-time Bartender at its Friendship Village of Schaumburg location. Position will be in our Bluestone Friendship Village Pub. This is a non-tipping position. Rates start at $15.50 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
Stocking bar with appropriate par levels of all items.
Responsible for inventory of alcohol.
Maintaining full knowledge of beers, wine and liquor available at the bar.
Maintaining full knowledge of menu and other specialty cocktails
Meeting and greeting guests with a friendly and professional manner in accordance to set standards.
Communicating with residents, guests and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner.
Responsible for sweeping & mopping floor in assigned area.
Maintaining full knowledge of service standards.
Reports any maintenance problems or other problem areas to designated leader.
Removes refuse in accordance with set standards.
Follows proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of the storage areas, tools, equipment, carts and other areas/items as directed by Supervisor or Manager on duty.
