Tetra Tech's Disaster Response Division is currently accepting applications for a Lead Data Analyst in Houston, TX Recognizing the importance of the Stafford Act to support the economic recovery of an area impacted by a disaster, Tetra Tech highly encourages local qualified applicants to apply. The employee in this position is responsible for managing both field and local data analyst and invoice reconciliation staff.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise, guide and support team staff, both local and field staff members

  • Manage resource demand, timelines, and escalate issues

  • Makes decisions and performs timely independent actions in pursuit of project priorities


  • Ability to perform ad hoc analyses for the Management Team

  • Receive and distribute information and task assignments to staff

  • Monitor work progress and effectively manage the completion of key project milestones

  • Review and approve team timesheets

  • Quality assurance and quality control of project data

    Qualifications - External


    Ideal candidates will have:



  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related degree

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server preferred


  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI or similar business analysis software preferred, but not required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, set priorities and plan work to meet deadlines

  • Maintains positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
