JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead for Commercial Excellence is a contributing partner in the development of our business and functional strategies, sets clear financially focused targets and partners closely with the Commercial Excellence function to drive organic sales growth for Cargill. You will be a strategic influencer and vital business partner for both Finance and cross-functional leadership by developing strong plans and driving financial rigor to achieve, and be accountable for, financial results and value creation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Serve as the strategic Finance leader for a global function.
Lead, coordinate and link all planning and forecasting processes for the global function and understand key drivers of results and related sensitivities.
Utilize technology to drive aligned performance management of the business and employ advanced modeling skills that bring new perspectives to the business.
Lead all aspects of the development and delivery of presentations including defending positions on controversial topics, adapting style to continuously seek ‘win-win’ solutions.
Create performance metrics to steer strategy execution.
Consult on new product development projects, develop necessary financial projections and sensitivity and approves the final financial forecasts and models for the business.
Apply expert commercial knowledge with an understanding of how all areas come together and operate as a business.
Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of eight years of related work experience
Travel approximately 10%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in a global matrixed organization
Experience and success in motivating teams for high performance
Experience in a Sales Finance, Sales or commercial-facing role
Experience as a key cross-functional partner to leaders in making business decisions and has the ability to navigate process and organizational complexity to get things done
