The Production Supply Planner facilitates smart business decisions while optimizing service and value to customers by leading production, inventory, and information flow.

What does a successful Supply Planner do?

In this role you will:

• Use meticulous focus on process, Lean/Six Sigma approaches and decisioning to deploy batch planning and supply strategy based on the Master Production and Sales & Operations Planning schedules
• Maintain production schedule with proper work cell load and manage Work In Process levels to ensure on-time delivery of batches
• Communicate priorities from Customer Planners to production and ensure accurate status updates to all partners
• Track flow of materials through the supply chain to ensure continuous supply to customers, monitor inventory and rebalance as needed
• Address waste management concerns including recertification, disposal, and root cause analysis
• Own ERP-related data, such as planner ID's, batch sizes, etc. and ensure that data flows correctly from Demand to Supply
• Generate Continuous Improvement project ideas, lead/participate on project teams to design and implement CI initiatives

Qualifications:

• 4 year college degree required with emphasis in Supply Chain, Operations Planning, or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years success in Material Procurement or Operations Planning
• Advanced Excel skills required, Power BI and/or Tableau preferred
• Prior ERP experience required, Oracle preferred
• APICS Certification desired
