Overview:

The Cafeteria Lineserver is responsible for the various operations required for day to day business including but not limited to operating a cash register, serving customers off of a serving line, restocking various items needed for business, describing various menu items and their ingredients and all cleaning duties required in the cafeteria to meet Joint Commission and State Health Department requirements. The Food Service Tech I postiion performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High school education or equivalent.


• 
  Licensure: None


• 
  Experience: One year experience or equivalent in institutional cooking.


• 
  Preferred Education: Education in Food Service or cooking desired.


• 
  Preferred Experience: Experience in a health care setting
