Job Description:

Envistacom is seeking a Senior Manager of Procurement to join our team in Duluth, Georgia. The ideal candidate will lead and manage Purchasing and Materials teams that support SATCOM systems, and work with Corporate Procurement to develop, modify and execute Procurement strategies and processes to deliver both strategic and tactical results.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Lead/support pricing analysis and negotiations with Suppliers on terms and conditions and price and schedule to minimize cost and company risk, and maximize performance

  • Coordinate activities among Program Managers and Engineering to develop supply chain strategies across a broad spectrum of materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly specialized nature to support business capture and operational excellence

  • Responsible for identifying key/critical Suppliers

  • Execute Procurement processes in accordance with Corporate policy/process

  • Ensure procurements conform to Corporate initiatives including but not limited to secure supply chain, obsolescence management, counterfeit parts risk mitigation, FARS/DFARS, Item Unique Identification (IUID) requirements, etc. before purchase orders are placed

  • Guide Purchasing team to ensure PO flowdowns are passed down to Suppliers based on Contractual/Program requirements

  • Support inventory management and materials functions for successful project performance and customer deliverables

  • Lead Government/Customer Furnished Equipment Management in accordance with applicable FAR/DFARS

  • Support Shipping function including compliance to Import and Export regulations

  • Provide direct supervision, oversight, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

  • Must have 5-8 years of experience in Subcontracts including a 5+ years in DoD and DLA purchasing rules and regulations and 3+ years of experience in Materials Management including Government Furnished Equipment management, FAR/DFAR/ITAR

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in management of staff

  • Knowledge and understanding of Supplier Agreement formation/terminology/legal terms as well as dispute mediation pertaining to business and contract law

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments, manage time effectively, manage documentation, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and provide good customer service to internal/external clients, including ability to interact with employees at all levels, develop cooperative working partnerships

  • Advanced user of Microsoft products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Experience in Supply Chain Operations System Implementation a plus (Ex. Deltek Costpoint, Vertical carousel, etc.)

  • Experience in Secure Supply Chain a plus (i.e., Counterfeit Part Risk Mitigation)

  • Experience in Approved Purchasing System a plus

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management a plus

  • Ability to travel 15%-25% ranging from a few days to a few weeks

  • Active Secret clearance OR had a Secret clearance within the last 2 years OR have the ability to obtain one
