Roles & Responsibilities

• Develops initial scope and prepares estimates for residential remodels & losses due to water, fire and mold. 


• Contacts vendors & suppliers to obtain costs for job materials.  


• Interprets and communicates repair methods and design to field staff.


• Coordinates with Project Managers to set project milestones and expectations.


• Updates estimates as needed per job change order and customer request. 

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience estimating insurance losses, emergency and repair / remodel services.


• Xactimate Level 1 User Certification required. Level 2 & 3 User Certification strongly preferred.  


• IICRC WRT / ASD certification strongly preferred. 


• Experience working with homeowners, insurance adjusters, agents and building officials.


• Understanding and experience working with older building materials and methods.   


• Familiarity with water restoration, mold remediation, fire damage clean-up and construction.


• Knowledge of building code requirements.


• Ability to read blueprints, architectural drawings and 3D scans.


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Technology & computer skills – including Microsoft Office, Apple iPhone & iPad

Working Conditions: 

• Working in an office environment


• Travel to job sites may be required
