Business Development Representative

The General Day to Day:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for ensuring that Phynd has a deep understanding of our potential clients' strategic initiatives. As a BDR you'll have half of the US and will work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop and deliver email and phone campaigns, designed to build interest and result in appointments with, our Regional Sales Directors (RSDs). You'll work with Marketing Departments, Information Technology Representatives, Chief Information Officers, Chief Security Officers and others, to book them into Phynd sponsored webinar's as well as appointments at the National Conferences we attend.

The Business Development Representative works as the foundation of our sales efforts and will require a result's driven, dynamic individual who enjoys using solid communication skills to meet their goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

The BDR is responsible for the following keys aspects of the awareness cycle:

•Develop potential business opportunities for 50% of the hospital/IDN market in the United States

•Work with Sales and Marketing to design and execute on a comprehensive email and phone campaign

•Target all personas and c-suite members listed for each account

•Work in and maintain information on customers and activities in SFDC

•Secure appointments with personas for each Regional Sales Director via emails and follow up phone calls

•Become proficient in presenting Phynd via conversations, power point presentations and product demos.

•Reach and exceed assigned email, phone and appointment setting goals

•Plan and participate in relevant local sales meetings and events

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of healthcare sales experience, surpassing assigned quotas

  • Passion for disruptive healthcare technology solutions and repeated success bringing new products and services to market; innately thrive in dynamic, collaborative, earlier stage corporate cultures

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven, dynamic presentation skills

  • Knowledge of technical and process requirements associated with SAS Solutions and the Phynd solution

  • Understanding of health care industry initiatives and correlation to the Phynd solution

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to track and manage large number of customer interactions and next steps.

  • Strong prospecting skills and proven numbers; call to appointment setting and call to close ratios

  • Proficient in Microsoft products and web demo options. SFDC knowledge is a plus.
