We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as a Project Manager in North Chicago, Illinois. This remote Project Manager role will work with the Senior Director on two major project initiatives ensuring that they are efficiently maintained and completed. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain training curriculum for providers and oversee successful completion of proficiency testing
Create an efficient and unified quality-check process for the various internal departments who write and collect data for FDA reports on pharmacovigilance/safety monitoring for any commercial company drug
Identify, monitor, and analyze business risks
Recognize when corrective action and planning are necessary and conduct root cause analyses
Update progress/achieved project milestones regularly to Business Leads, Sponsors, and Senior Management
Compile and provide routine standard reports (monthly and ad hoc basis)
Address conflicting, incorrect, insufficient, or inappropriate info prior to report publication
Collect and analyze project and process data/metrics
Interact with all levels of employees in support of project coordination
Assess performance against plans, processes, and practices to determine effectiveness and areas for process improvement
Execute various work streams within this project
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7 years of Life Sciences experience managing similar sized efforts required
Excellent communication, negotiation/influencing, and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of diplomacy in a scientific, industrial, and commercial environment
Demonstrated ability to lead/mentor people
Excellent skills leading meetings, presenting, and training
Strong project management and Power Point skills required
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills in a matrix organization and a successful track record of accomplishing high quality results through team level performance
Good understanding of the implementation/impact of regulatory requirements, guidelines, and internal SOPs
Ability to articulate complex ideas in understandable business terms to all levels of leadership and project teams
EDUCATION
Minimum of Master's Degree or equivalent Project Management Experience required
