Castleton Commodities International (www.cci.com) is hiring a Real-Time Dispatcher/Trader in our Stamford, CT office. Candidates will be hired based upon their experience, knowledge, skill, and ability to add value to the company.
Responsibilities
Monitor and dispatch the real-time operations of CCI's asset portfolio at night or weekend hours.
Take or direct timely and appropriate real-time actions in accordance with exchange market and ISO procedures.
Coordinate and communicate all necessary information to exchange markets, ISOs, and other traders.
As control room operator, have the responsibility and authority to implement real-time actions to ensure the stable and reliable trading operation.
Must comply with applicable exchange market and regional ISO rules and tariffs.
Monitor and analyze available market information to identify dispatching and trading opportunities.
Analyze and evaluate transactions to ensure that all relevant aspects including price, counter party, and contractual terms are compliant with CCI's Risk Management Policy.
Must complete necessary exchange and ISO training, certification and continuing education requirements as applicable.

Qualifications
Previous trading desk experience, backgrounds within market risk also eligible
Previous experience within Energy Commodities
Language skills are beneficial though not required (Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, German)
