Job Description:

Chase is looking for an experienced communications professional to join the Card Services Communications team to manage external communications/public relations for a number of our leading credit card portfolios. This PR expert would have the opportunity to work with some of the most notable credit cards from the #1 card issuer in the US.

He or she will play an integral role in shaping the go-to-market communications strategies for credit cards. We need a communications pro who can critically consider the 360 integrated marketing/communications approach, develop and execute breakthrough campaigns and tell compelling stories with a fresh and modern voice.

The position will report to the Head of Communications for Chase Card Services and will also join the integrated marketing team for card portfolios they support, which is comprised of the business management team, marketing/brand, social and support agencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, present and execute strategic and tactical communications/public relations campaigns that drive business outcomes

• Serve as strategic communications counsel to Chase card business team leaders and managers

• Collaborate with internal and external Chase marketing support teams (social, brand/advertising, video, content), business leaders, external partners and support agencies to tell a holistic story

• Manage communications/PR agency on campaign execution and measurement

• Coordinate with internal communications team members to pull through meaningful storylines within Chase

• Protect and enhance the reputation of the firm - both externally and among employees

• Domestic travel could be required once travel restrictions are lifted

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in a communications/PR or marketing role

• Proven experience in proactive and reactive media relations, and proactively executing public relations campaigns that resulted in positive press coverage and support business results

• Experience working in the financial services, or with travel/dining/entertainment or consumer product industries

• Experience working in a large company a plus

• Executive communications experience - consulting directly with an executive/leaders - preferred

• Experience working on an integrated marketing team a plus

• Relationships with lifestyle and/or business/finance media

Ideal candidate would have the following skill set:

• Superior writing and editing skills

• Subject matter expertise on lifestyle press and consumer PR

• Building meaningful narratives and storylines

• Outstanding partnering/collaboration capabilities

• Negotiation and influencing skills

• Fluency across social media and other multi-media channels

• Must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility and adaptability. We need a go-getter with the ability to deliver on tight deadlines - and sometimes outside traditional business hours.

• Executive presence and presentation skills

• Demonstrated expertise telling a story visually (PowerPoint)

• Excellent relationship building and collaborative decision making skills; strong verbal and written communication skills
