Job Summary:

Responsible for performing detailed repairs on furniture purchased by our customers.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Determine the cost effective repair status.

• Perform detailed repairs on furniture to include wood, upholstery, and leather products.

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.

• Communicate and document all customer concerns to the Repair Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and well organized work area to include company vehicles.

• Maintain all tools and repair materials in proper condition.

• Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others.

• Work with other employees to attain company goals.

• Participate in focus group, safety, and other location meetings.

• Recommend other employees for commendation for achievement.

• Report violations of company policies and the misappropriation of company assets.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

• Basic knowledge of wood, fabric and leather repair.

• Ability to drive a company vehicle.

• Demonstrated interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to use the phone.

• Able to lift 50-100 pounds, frequently. Mostly standing, bending, and walking.

• Normally driving or riding in a company vehicle to a customer’s home.

• Warehouse setting with semi-controlled heating and cooling or in a customer’s home.

• Moderate level of stress.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year furniture repair experience.
