- Assist Supervisor as required.
- Manage hand receipts, perform inventory adjustments, transfers, and update authorization.
- Post supply status and receipt information to the activity register.
- Receives, stores, and issues with various materials.
- Physically inventory materials by inventory documentation in conjunction with requirements for supply activities.
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages of stored materials.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Constructing and repairing boxes, pallets, and wood bracing to be used in shipping and storage, as needed.
- Sorting, categorizing, receiving, and issuing equipment to customers.
Other duties as assigned or related to the overall operation of the section/branch that the position
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
- Valid state driver's license
- Must be proficient with Microsoft programs. Ex. Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
- Must have at least one-year experience working in Property Book or Supply Support Activity.
- Must have knowledge of Army Regulations for Property and Supply.
- Good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
- Minimal of one-year experience utilizing the Global Combat Supply Support- Army (GCSS-A) are preferred.
- An understanding of the needs of the organization/units serviced.
- Must have excellent communication skills and experience working with customers.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, snow, and sleet.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
