Job Description:

Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) is seeking a VP Portfolio Analysis and Reporting to join our team. This role will lead the development, organization, and implementation of the Associations' portfolio management program to support Association strategic objectives aligning credit risk, market share and profitability. Works with team to conduct special studies focused on creating new insights to evolve the business's approach to market. Leads the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide reporting and analysis framework ensuring risk transparency at each level of the business while aggregating risks for the Associations. Serves on various cross-functional teams and workgroups internal to the Associations as well as within the System to create portfolio and market understanding.

Responsibilities



  • Portfolio Management

    • Lead the development, organization and implementation of the Associations' portfolio management program to support strategic objectives and balancing key metrics of credit risk, market share and profitability.

    • Monitor credit portfolio to assure safety and soundness of all Association loan assets and alignment with Associations' portfolio strategy and develop reports, analysis, and recommendations for credit leadership, senior leadership, Board of Directors, FCA, and funding bank(s). Coordinate data needs and analysis with external stakeholders including funding bank(s), FCA and auditors.

    • Leads the design and implementation of the Associations' market intelligence analysis framework to create an understanding of potential customer needs and the Associations' competitive positioning. Provide analysis and actionable insights to lending teams to develop sales strategies to serve customer needs.

    • Understands the profitability of Association products and delivery methods to inform decisions affecting market approach and operational efficiency.

    • Develop and report conclusions and make recommendations to the Associations' Senior Leadership, Governance Committees, Board, and other external stakeholders including funding bank(s), FCA and auditors.




  • Enterprise Reporting

    • Leads the development and implementation of the enterprise-wide reporting and analysis framework ensuring risk transparency at each level of the business while aggregating risks for the Associations

    • Develop and execute a enterprise reporting framework including business ownership of data analysis and visualization tools. Lead the team responsible for providing the Level 1 support for these tools to the Associations.

    • Coordinate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio performance reports. Responsible for the submission of monthly data files to funding bank(s).



  • Serves on various cross-functional teams and workgroups internal to the Associations as well as within the System to create portfolio and market understanding.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Agricultural Economics, or Agricultural Business Administration is required; a graduate degree is preferred

  • 8-10 years' related experience in Risk Management, Credit, or Finance with 2+ years or more leadership experience
