Position Overview:


Press Ganey currently has an exciting opportunity for an Account Director.All US geographic areas considered, Midwest and East Coast preferred.


The Account Director (AD) is responsible for generating interest, developing leads, and increasing market share for PG's solutions, in an identified mid-market territory.The Account Director territory will include clients consisting of hospitals, and other health care organizations up to a defined bed size or client spend. This position may require up to 40% travel including occasional on-site visits to clients/prospects as well as company training/meetings as needed.


Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Generate interest, develop leads, and increase market share for PG solutions to meet monthly quota

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts, and sustain current and complete information inSalesforce.com

  • Develop a superior level of product and market knowledge of the specific business needs and challenges faced by PG clients, and remain current and knowledgeable about the industry by completing trainings, reading publications, and attending educational programs

  • Proactively establish and maintain effective team relationships with PG staff to meet company objectives, client needs, deliverables, and expectations.

  • Attend and participate on weekly team calls. Become a resource to colleagues and partner with internal staff to further goals of the company

  • Complete "must haves"


Qualifications:



  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop relationships, ranging from the "C" suite to departmental directors to end users

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Comfortable with working independently in an empowering, fast paced, results oriented culture

  • Well-developed organizational skills are required in order to effectively manage multiple initiatives and internal deadlines simultaneously

  • Prospecting Activities within Assigned Accounts: Cold calling, internet research, email, relationship building, and other tactics

  • Identify and Qualify Opportunities: Align assigned PG solutions with prospect initiatives, develop deep customer knowledge and relationships, identify funding source, secure key stakeholder sponsorship, and resolve obstacles/objections

  • Demonstrate, Propose, and Present: Demonstrate PG solutions to key stakeholders when applicable, present compelling value proposition, answer questions, overcome objections, build ROI / business case when applicable, and follow up promptly and professionally

  • Contribute to the PG Client Management Community: Develop and share best practices with teammates, facilitate internal discussions with key stakeholders, collaborate with other sales team members, contribute to positive work environment and morale

  • Leverage Personal and Professional Development Opportunities: Develop and maintain outstanding product knowledge, build deep expertise in healthcare trends, enhance skills and abilities such as communication, presentation, negotiations, and teamwork

  • High level of integrity and professionalism, properly setting expectations


Minimum Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Three or more years of sales/client management experience gained primarily in healthcare, including consulting services, clinical and financial healthcare services, and/or health care IT services.
