JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following sets forth the primary responsibilities of this job, but is not an exhaustive list. The Bank, through its managers and supervisors, reserves the right to assign any additional duties necessary to meet the needs of our clients, associates and/or shareholders.


  1. Demonstrated ability to gather information from various data sources and integrate into decision making. Supports decision making of NBH's management with financial analysis focused on costs, benefits, and risk to our shareholders.


  2. Supports the daily cash management including settlement, reconciliation, forecasting, periodic testing of the liquidity contingency funding plan, and management of lines of credit.


  3. Responsible for the companywide hedging program, including daily collateral management settlement and reconciliation.


  4. Prepares deposit rate survey analysis for the Pricing Committee, including the updating of rate sheets on a bi-weekly basis.


  5. Responsible for monthly reporting of the collateral for borrowing capacity and the pledging for public funds.


  6. Prepares Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reporting for cash management, including securities purchases and management of existing securities, loans, deposits, and general funding initiatives, including the preparation of management reports as well as reports supplied to the Asset Liability Committee and Board of Directors.


  7. Prepares special analyses at the request of management and other internal partners.


  8. Maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.


  9. Interact with others (co-workers, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating them with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.



EDUCATIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Required: This position requires the following educational and/or job experience


  • One to three years of relevant job experience related to Treasury/Finance functions.


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.


  • Proficient in MS Office applications with emphasis in Excel.


  • Enjoy analyzing and reporting, including modeling "what-if" scenarios


  • Ability to prepare financial reporting and explain results.



Preferred:


  • 3+ years of relevant job experience in risk-related field, bank regulatory agency or consulting.


  • Banking experience.
