What you will do

As an HVAC Equipment Support Engineer you will work under minimal direction provides technical support to the Field Sales & Service organization in a consistent manner across all 3rd party product offerings.

How you will do it

• Provide day-to-day technical support for 3rd party products to Field Sales & Service organization in North America via phone, fax, email, or site visit.

• Accountable to maintain access to technical service bulletins, service letters, and updates to the Solutions Database that meets and or exceeds internal customer expectations.

• Accountable for sourcing product service literature for 3rd party products

• Provide training and guidance for the Connected Chiller platform to field service technicians on 3rd party equipment.

• Provide research and guidance on Connectivity solution for 3rd party equipment.

• Provide competitive feedback on 3rd party equipment.

• Perform basic troubleshooting using knowledge of the refrigeration cycle.

• Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct, safety and Business Ethics Standards

• Must adhere to all safety and personal protection requirements.

• Up to 15% to travel both domestic and Internationally

• Locate reliable sources to acquire technical documentation on 3rd party mechanical equipment with a focus on Chillers.

• Locate reliable source of parts for 3rd party equipment and provide guidance to field service technician to those sources.

• Publish knowledge literature to the solution data based.

• Posting of technical documentation out of the Knowledge Platforms.

What we look for

Required

• Knowledge in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with seven years related experience required or Secondary Training in Electrical or Mechanical technology with ten years of related experience

• Experienced in Chiller Field Support or Technical Service with an OEM for a minimum of 10-years with good general knowledge of all HVAC-R product application.

• Must be able to analyze and solve start-up and run mode problems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required
