Job Description:

AWM Global Private Banking has embarked on a client service transformation program to modernize the servicing platform for intelligent client interaction, better client experience and efficiencies. The platform is used by 1000 client service agents globally. This transformation will leverage state of the art technologies for client contact channels such as voice biometrics, computer telephony integration (CTI), email ingestion with Ai/ML used for classification, client prediction, data extraction as well as sentiment analysis used for request assignment and a highly scalable workflow service called Moneta, built using open source software. In addition, building out new payment system, asset transfer system and many more modern capabilities.

As a senior leader in Software Engineering, you'll combine your years of proven expertise with a never-ending quest to create innovative technology through solid engineering practices. You'll lead a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards. With your deep knowledge of design, analytics, development, coding, testing, and application programming, your team will raise their game even more, meeting your standards, as well as satisfying both business and functional requirements. Your passion and experience in one or more technology domains will help solve complex and mission critical problems, internally and externally. As a constant learner and early adopter, you're already embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies; your example encourages others to follow suit.

You are expected to be deeply technical, hands on, able to lead by example, good appreciation of technical risks, good orientation on software development best practices and extremely disciplined about it. You have the ability to put on a Functional hat on to review and challenge requirements, focused on code quality, expertise in performance tuning, persistence to get to the bottom of issues and fix them permanently.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

• Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

• Command of architecture, design, and business processes

• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management

• Expertise in working in in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals

• Passionate about building an innovative culture

• Experience with the following: Java, Spring, Boot, Kafka, MQ series, Elasticsearch, Angular, React, Agile practices

• Experience in software development modernization, cloud application development

• Hands on in architecture, application design
