Position Description:
The AMETEK Chemical Products Division (CPD) consists of two businesses, Fluoropolymer Products and Westchester Plastics. Westchester Plastics is a leader in the production of an array of specialty compounds for leading plastic compounders and resin producers in the US in many industries. Westchester plastics is located in Nesquehoning, PA.
Westchester Plastics is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor who will focus on maintaining an injury free workplace while directing the daily activities of all material movements, including shipment and receipt, for the plant across three shifts. The Supervisor will report to the Plant Manager and oversee a team of unionized material handlers. The Supervisor arranges the appointments for outside trucking companies and manages material storage throughout the plant. The role requires frequent time in the manufacturing plant to monitor inventories and to gain accurate information for internal and external use.
The candidate will have experience managing the safe and efficient handling of bulk raw materials, loading and unloading of trucks and scheduling outside carriers. The candidate should also have prior leadership experience as a supervisor or hourly lead.
The plant operates is a dynamic, customer focused environment where priorities change often. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast paced, multi shift environment where smoothly transferring between duties is required.

Position Requirements:
• Lead an injury free workplace
• A minimum of three years of progressive leadership experience with materials movement, shipping and receiving in a manufacturing plant or warehouse.
• Prior experience operating and training material handling equipment (forklifts, hand jacks, etc.) is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work outside traditional business hours when needed
• Ability to resolve employee concerns with respect and consideration while meeting the objectives of the business.
• Strong planning and follow up skills.
