SUMMARY
Repair, fabricate and maintain equipment by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
Maintains proper fluid levels in all equipment.
Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
Makes minor repairs on equipment.
Never operates unsafe equipment.
Maintains a clean work area.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Runs small equipment when necessary.
Does work independently without being told.
Takes proper care of tools and equipment.
Preform PM's and light repairs to vehicles, highway trucks and mixers.
Travel to Tell City shop or Dale yard, transportation provided
QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of preventative maintenance schedules and inspections. Knowledge and use of oil types and uses in all equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
