Health Engagement Advisor (Lead Analyst) at Cigna

Job Description:

Responsible for providing customer support in the areas of benefit education, open enrollment and well-being initiatives. Coordinates with account team partners (e.g. Engagement Consultant for medical clients and Client Manager for dental clients) to ensure needs are met and potential problems are averted. Keeps account partners informed of account status and opportunities for expanded business, competitive intelligence, etc. Makes on-site and virtual presentations to existing and prospective customers to educate and inform as well as coordinates on-site events. Supports a book of business of dental only clients with a shared focus on overall engagement strategy, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and inclusive of communication needs and onsite event support.

Key Responsibilities


  • Leads presentations (onsite and virtual) to customers, current and prospective, to describe and respond to questions about Cigna's benefits, engagement and well-being offerings.

  • Develops (and delivers) Customer presentations focusing on educating and informing.

  • Orders appropriate collateral, benefit summaries, and giveaways

  • Build and execute open enrollment strategy in partnership with account partners and client (where applicable).

  • Proactively identifies and shares recommendations and insights on open enrollment and engagement/well-being client specific opportunities for the following year with account partners.

  • Works with account partners to implement well-being and enrollment strategy

  • Maintains knowledge and expertise in all products, programs, services and enrollment activity. Effectively articulates and demonstrates Cigna's capabilities and tools in the marketplace

  • Tracks event meetings, including attendance, and top customer questions. Responsible for related data entry into Cigna systems, such as (and not limited to) Salesforce.com.

  • Refers customer service issues, administrative functions, eligibility, and billing questions, installation matters, settlement production matters to appropriate service organization representatives (Employer Account Services, Customer Service Claim and Call Centers, etc.)

  • May support local market community events as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications


  • Proficient knowledge in healthcare / managed care business; to include many or all of the following: product knowledge, marketing processes, sales practices, account management and knowledge of administrative operations

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Influential sales experience

  • Demonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to plan for both the long and short term; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize work

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with matrix partners in the organization; ability to leverage matrix resources to drive deliverables

  • Previous account management experience

  • Has already or ability to obtain necessary licenses

  • Ability to travel
