Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Manufacturing Operations

Essential Functions

• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair on our gummy production equipment


• Repairs or replaces broken doors, door locks, windows, etc.


• Installs electrical wiring and equipment as needed


• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required


• May be on call during certain emergency times or to cover others during PTO


• Assists with the renovation / remodeling of buildings


• Repairs or replaces drywall and paints as needed


• Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures


• May obtain estimates for supplies, repair parts; order parts as needed


• Respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from management team


• Performs maintenance in a timely manner


• Ensure that all maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries to employees and visitors


• Demonstrates an ability to communicate effectively with management and internal customers


• Follows all company safety policies and keeps up to date on all required training


• Controls company inventory of parts and tools as required


• Performs other work-related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Prior machine maintenance experience, including electrical and wiring experience


• Have a reliable work van or truck


• Able to work flexible days and hours (30-50 hours a week)


• 2-3 business references


• Knowledgeable in Outlook, email and basic excel


• Physical requirements include: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and ability to lift and/or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more
