Job Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Drive growth and profitability of the company by working with a business unit through strategic forecasting and business analysis, including capital expenditures, variance analysis, process changes, and internal management reporting
Develop integrated, flexible expense analysis that identifies trends, potential issues, and highlights areas of high performance
Oversee process to make sure that management reporting is completed on time and aligned with external reporting
Involved in monthly close, forecasting, and budgeting processes
Involved in strategy projects including divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, industry and competitive analysis, and global economic news / trend analysis that impact business performance
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
8-10 years of experience in an internal financial reporting, FP&A, or accounting role
MBA, CPA, or other advanced degree preferred
Desire to take on the responsibility of leading a finance function of a multi-billion dollar business
Proven leadership experience
Ability to thrive in team-based settings
Ability to create strong cross-functional relationships
Strong communication and presentation skills
Vigorous work ethic and high performance standards
Ability to learn quickly and thrive in fast-paced environment
Strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills to solve complex problems and arrive at logical well-thought solutions
Advanced knowledge of excel
Knowledge of HFM or Hyperion Planning preferred
Self-starter that can lead projects with minimal supervision from management
