Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Supply Technician (temp) on a Government contract with a place of performance in Ft. Irwin, CA!
This position is temporary backfilling for an undetermined amount of time.
Position Responsibilities :
The Supply Technician (temp) performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
Evaluate and prepare inventory reports
Evaluate account condition, identify deficiencies, and initiate corrective actions
Monitor inventory levels and asset movements and ensure timely response to mission requirements
Ensure compliance with policies, directives, and procedures
Operate storage and dispensing facilities
Perform supervised inspections on assets to manage shelf-life within requirements, serviceability and proper packaging and maintains inspection and storage records
Manage shelf-life extension process
Follow prescribed daily work assignments
Qualifications
US Citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age
Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
Valid state driver's license
Desired Qualifications:
Possess a working knowledge of military writing and other technical correspondence
A minimum of one year experience in military property accountability supply procedures and have documented experience using all automated systems currently used by the government to maintain supply accountability
Prior U.S. Army Supply background preferred
Working knowledge of GCSS-Army preferred
Must be able to read and understand technical manuals, DA Pam 738-750 (Maintenance of Supplies and Equipment) and DA Pam 710-2 (Unit Supply System)
A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced
Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
Must be able to lift 40 pounds
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
