Dealing with matters of a complex nature requires a broad range of skills and experience. A&M's DI practice comprises professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, who bring deep expertise in conducting investigations, carrying out economic expert witness reports and providing forensic technology services.

Our Disputes & Investigations team has a pan European presence with teams in London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens, Paris, Madrid and Zurich. We have worked on some of the most significant, high-profile matters in the investigative and disputes area across many European countries and beyond.

Disputes & Investigations Paris

A&M has extended its DI service line into Paris with the appointment of Andrew Flower listed by Who's Who Legal as one of the top 10 leading expert witnesses in international arbitration in Europe. We are growing quickly in France and so we are seeking an Associate to join a new but already busy International Arbitration team. Our team in Paris is an integrated part of A&M across the whole of Europe. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have between 2 and 4 years of experience within forensics. You will:


  • Assist in the preparation of Expert witness reports of financial or economic nature


  • Provide strategic advice of financial or economic nature to lawyers and clients to support their legal strategy


  • Carry out fraud investigations


  • help out with business intelligence procedures in investigation contexts

Requirements, skills and experience

The successful candidate will be highly analytical and technically competent individual who pays strong attention to detail. They should be both comfortable working in a team and individually directly supporting a senior member of the team. The successful candidate will have a balance of the following requirements and skills:


  • Professional experience of 2-4 years within Forensic Services


  • Strong accounting and valuation knowledge


  • Fluency in French and English is required (additional European language skills highly desirable)


  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills


  • Ability to analyse and synthesise information from several sources and draw coherent, well-evidenced conclusions


  • Capability of lateral-thinking and able to approach investigations and the resolution of problems


  • Organised and with the ability to manage large volumes of information


  • Ability to explain complicated technical concepts to non-finance individuals


  • As you will have the opportunity to be part of international projects and work with clients across the world, the candidate should be willing to travel.
