Position Description

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees the relationship between StandardAero Business Aviation and its Eastern Region customers, both in sales and customer relations. The RSM will be expected to travel in region to generate prospects, formulate work scopes, and finalize the sale of airframe maintenance, repairs, and/or modifications on StandardAero target aircraft. Covers Upper NY, MA, NH, VT, ME and Eastern Canada regions.

• Conducts regional sales calls through visits, correspondence, telephone, and email
• Monitors/manages sales/market conditions within assigned sales territory
• Maintains relationship with regional Business Aviation organizations
• Develops/maintains a relationship with aviation OEMs, suppliers, brokers, and vendors to increase knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repairs
• Will be required to work closely with the Avionics Engine and Modification Sales Managers to develop proposals and project schedules
• Maintains interaction with the Quoting Department to accurately develop airframe proposals
• Expands sales within assigned territory with particular focus on Airframe business
• Manages territory and pipeline data in Salesforce.com
• Manages expenses within the budget
• Travels extensively to meet sales and quota goals, 50-75%
• Performs other duties as required by the Sales Director

Position Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years in a customer-facing aviation (MRO) sales role. Direct business aviation (MRO) sales experience over a region, preferred.
• Position resides and works out of the East region.
• Ability to travel on short notice, up to 75%.
• Corporate Aviation experience required.
• Strong industry contacts in business aviation preferred.
• Airframe technical background preferred, with emphasis on the following: Dassault Falcon Jet, Embraer Legacy, Bombardier Global Express, and Challenger.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Assertive, possesses high energy, and is self-motivated.
• Proficient in computer applications: MSWord, Excel. Ideal candidate will also be proficient in SFDC.
• A&P Certificate or other industry certification preferred.
