The Director of Food and Beverage will oversee and organize activities of the Food and Beverage department including, but not limited to the kitchen, banquet operations, restaurant, room service and bar. It is the Director’s responsibility to maintain a high standard of Food and Beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Some duties include reviewing and evaluating customer satisfaction, hiring and training staff and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures that relate to Food and Beverage, as well as local, state and federal law regulations. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, strategic and personable leader who can effectively organize a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels. 

Leads and initiates Food and Beverage outlet operations including outlet marketing, food and wine promotions, customer service and inventories. Assists with the menu development, recipe development and food preparation for the designated outlet. Develops beverage programs. Maintains established policies and procedures within the designated outlet. Develops and executes the strategic plan including budget administration and preparation forecasting, profit and loss accountability, cost control and inventories. Manages the performance of the outlet service and management staff. Develops and executes creative initiatives to enhance the guest service experience.

High school diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred. Excessive Food & Beverage Director level experience is required. Minimum five years leadership experience in Food & Beverage Operation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
