As a member of the Finance team, the BI Analyst Position serves as the company’s TM1 subject matter expert. The TM1 solution is based on IBM’s cloud-based Planning Analytics platform (PA).
This role is responsible for supporting business process improvement initiatives across various departments such as FP&A, Accounting, Merchandising, and Operations. This role will focus on maximizing TM1 capabilities by creatively applying the technology to enhance business process effectiveness and efficiencies.
The scope of responsibility will include coordination of project activities for related initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
TM1 subject matter expert.
Support executives, department leaders, and key users of TM1 solution.
IT Point of Contact for the TM1 solution.
Coordinate and monitor the activities of business process improvement initiatives.
Help to identify areas of opportunity in efficiencies and cost savings.
Assist in coordinating and prioritizing key projects across the Finance function.
Execute the Fiscal Month-end GL and Sales refresh TM1 TI processes (execute the processes and validate the data).
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science with 5 or more years related experience.
TM1 experience or experience with other multi-dimensional planning tools preferred.
Experience building SQL queries (MS SQL Server preferred)
